Meet Tami, our founder
Tami is the founder, President and Chief Chemist of Ivory Clay. She formulates every one of our creams herself, working through each recipe until the texture, absorption and feel on the skin are exactly right.
A family effort
Chance works alongside her. You’ll find him at our markets keeping the table stocked, and behind the scenes he looks after inventory, the website and getting your orders out the door. The products, though, are all Tami.

Grass-fed suet tallow is rich in the same kinds of lipids your skin makes on its own. We pair it with simple ingredients to nourish skin and keep it soft and healthy.
Why we start with suet
We use true suet tallow from grass-fed cattle, the dense, clean fat around the kidneys. It renders into a silkier, more stable tallow than ordinary trim fat, which is why our creams feel luxurious rather than greasy. Read why our tallow is truly premium.
